THOREAU AND THE TWO REVOLUTIONS

Meet Henry David Thoreau, portrayed by historian Richard Smith,
at the Thoreau house replica near the main parking lot. Learn about
the literary revolution of the 19th century and the American Revolutionary War of 1776. Stop by anytime during this two hour window.
GROWING BEANS LIKE THOREAU
Sunday April 17, & Earth Day, Friday April 22, 11:00am-12:00pm
Join a Park Interpreter at the Thoreau house replica near the main parking lot, and jump into spring gardening. Bean seedlings will be provided, to take home, and we will take a walk to where Henry once grew his beans.
Monday April 18, Tuesday April 19, & Wednesday, April 22
Step inside a story book as you stroll past book pages placed on the Pond Path. Enjoy a fun activity for the whole family. Children must be accompanied by an adult. The walk starts in front of the Thoreau House Replica near the main parking lot.
Please dress for the weather.
Programs are free, but there is a $8 parking fee for vehicles with Massachusetts plates, $10 for vehicles with non-Massachusetts plates. All children must be accompanied by an adult. No dogs allowed with the exception of working guides. For more information call park staff at 978 369-3254
